This ingenious Powerpoint provides an addition sum generator for younger children. Simply click on the highlighted button and a random sum will appear. Give your students time to answer the question before clicking on the sum to reveal the answer. One more click on the answer returns you to the sum generator page. All sums use numbers from 1 to 9, making it suitable for younger children. Ideal for whole class mental math sessions. You can even edit the resource to input your own choice of sums. Updated for 2017 - 18. This resource provides a clear, simple to follow rationale for a scoring system for Key Stage 3. For clarification, a new numeric scoring system is cross referenced with the previous levels and also links to projected GCSE grades (old grading system).
