Print these out and cut them out. Have them near the door and train late-comers to take one, go to their place quietly and fill in the card. When it is filled in, you can take it from them and read the reason and decide how to proceed, all without interrupting your lesson. I have a lesson plan template, behaviour management lesson tracker sheet, daily desk planner and early finisher challenge sheet available in my shop also.
