NO PRINTING NECESSARY - ALL RESOURCES INCLUDED (Base 10 may be useful)
This is 5 week’s worth of lessons on addition and subtraction for Year 3. These PowerPoints covers the first 5 weeks of Block 2 - White Rose.
Each daily independent task will be proceeded by the ‘varied fluency’ sections of the White Rose planning, which are pasted into these PowerPoints. The ‘mathematical talk’ sections on the White Rose plans may also be useful. Mild and Spicy will usually be questions for children to complete independently (some support), with the Hot section being more problem solving based (greater depth, mastery type).
The White Rose schemes are free to download here.

25 class bookmarks, perfect for an end of year gift.
A mixture of male/female bookmarks, each one with a personalised message tailored to the individual (names removed) which you can adapt to suit your class.
My class loved these and still use them now, 2 years down the line!
1 PSHE lesson based on the book We Are All Born Free: The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Children discuss what it means to be a human, what human qualities are, dignity, necessities and human rights.
Children research the human rights and then create their own posters based on one human right/a mix of many/their own one.
Suitable for use across KS2 / could be adapted for KS1.
5 English lessons for UKS2.
2 grammar lessons on semi-colons and parenthesis - all content from Natural Curriculum.
3 comprehension lessons based on David Attenborough’s Kilauea Volcano and Perfect Planet, with some vocabulary work - all content from Fred’s Teaching Reading.
The content was not planned by me and is not owned by me. It belongs to Natural Curriculum and Fred’s Teaching Reading, I have just put snippets into a PowerPoint to form a week’s plan.
A range of lessons mostly from the Red Cross, organised into a unit of work. Our topic is Superheroes and Superhumans - this unit looks at the latter, focusing on the emergency services and humanitarianism.

First week of lessons based on The Lighthouse from the Literacy Shed.
Lessons focus on drama, describing a setting, describing how tension is created and inverted commas.
Aimed at Y3/4 but can be adapted.
1 week of lessons on Where The Wild Things Are aimed at Year 3/4.
Lesson based on identifying the key features of the text, internalising the text and then some drama.
I created pictures to help children internalize the text ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ by Maurice Sendak. This is based on Talk for Writing by Pie Corbett.
This is targeted at Y3/4 but could be used lower down the school. Children will eventually write their own version, following the format of this book.
Took me about 2 hours so will save you a lot of time if you are planning to use this book for Talk for Writing.
ALL RESOURCES INCLUDED (Base 10 may be useful)
This is a whole week worth of lessons on addition and subtraction for Year 3. This PowerPoint covers the fifth week of Block 2 - White Rose.
I have started to include the answers to the questions, which you will also find in these powerpoints. I spend the last 15 minutes of each lesson getting the children to check their own answers, tick them if they’re right and correct them if they’re wrong. I still go through and check their books, but all the marking is done. All I need to do is note down who needs further support the next day! It saves so much time and takes me 15 minutes to mark 30 books.

A nice little touch. Print onto paper or card, these are lovely to send home to parents to help build positive relationships and my kids love them too.
A simple worksheet for Year 2 which asks them to find different objects around the room/outside and note down their measurements/how tall they are etc.
Can be developed and extended depending on your class.
3 basic lessons debating Cristiano Ronaldo’s salary and a new rule which could improve football.
Good for getting children to discuss their opinions and becoming more confident speaking in front of the class.
