This lesson will take students to various sites to experience the phases of the moon. The activity starts off with a reading and then students visit a website to visualize the phases of the moon and how they change while moving around the Earth. This set includes two density labs. The first lab asks students to find the mass and volume of regularly and irregularly shaped objects in order to determine their density. The second lab asks students to once again determine the mass and volume of irregularly shaped objects in order to determine their density, but students will use an overflow can to determine volume.
