PSHE / misogyny lesson resource which aims to combat the emergence of misogynistic views which have increased since the emergence of Andrew Tate (he is not mentioned). The resource looks at some of the traditional masculine views and expectations of men in the past and considers if some of these would really be beneficial to young men today, this is done by comparing a man of the 1950s and 2020s and also encouraging pupils to consider the life they would want their important women to have.

This Religious Studies lesson is on the vocation of Christian Jackie Pullinger to visit the dangerous Walled City in Hong Kong where she later set up the St Stephen’s Society to help opium addicts. Pride Month assembly / form time tutorial which looks at the importance of being able to be our ‘true selves’ by listening to Phyllis Akua Opoku-Gyima, also known as Lady Phyll. Lady Phyll is a co-founder and executive director of UK Black Pride and talks about the challenges she faced growing up as well as the importance of being an ally for the rights of others, the lesson uses a clip about the F1 racer Lewis Hamilton to demonstrate this. The design of the resource is as a form time tutorial but it could easily be used as an assembly by replacing ‘discuss’ with ‘consider’. This resource uses the 2023 theme.
