Negative Numbers PowerPoint
Hello,
I have created a PowerPoint on negative numbers. My style of teaching is where I have the presentation on the TV and then I complete the questions on the board. This doesn’t have the answers with the examples but it does with the questions.
The powerpoint works through each stage and has plenty of examples to go with it.
I have also created worksheets to go with them. I previously uploaded these worksheets and all of the numbers shifted so I have taken a screen shot and placed it at the bottom of the powerpoint.
Please leave feedback.

Time Capsule - Form Time Activity
I created a time capsule a few years ago.
I used it with my Year 7 form at the end of the school year. They wrote down their responses to questions such as favourite subject, worst subject, favourite food from the canteen, the job I want in the future is, the best thing about being in year 7, funniest thing that has happened in year 7, height, shoe size and others. I also leave a space for them in the middle where they can put a picture of themselves. I have kept it in a safe box at the back of my cupboard.
It will be a lovely (and embarrassing) memory for them.
'Chat About It' - Form time activity
This resource is to help with form time. I have used it for years now and it really helped create bonds with form and other classes who were still talking about it after form.
It gets them talking and feeling comfortable with each other and their form tutor.
It has 50 slides and can be done using post it notes or just speaking out with your form.
It also helps tutees to see that form teachers are real people.
Some of the topics that appear are:
What is something crafty, recipe, project that you would like to make?
What would you put as your personalised driving licence?
Tell us one fact we don’t know about you?
Where is the best place you have been to?
What is an example of a random act of kindness done by you?
What is your favourite Disney movie?
