MY name's Andy and I have been a teacher of MFL for the past 30 years, having taught both French and German to GCSE and A Level as well as some KS3 Spanish and GCSE Dutch along the way. All the resources I publish here are things I use with my own classes and think could be useful to others.

Translating from and in to French

(2)
an extended worksheet exploring how to translate the French verbs faire and aller in to English and the English verb/word do in to French. Could be used as an introduction to translating at KS5, allowing students to discover how one verb can be translated in many different ways depending on context, metaphorical use or set expressions.

Crime and punishment in French

(9)
a worksheet for A Level French, exploring sentencing and crime and punishment. Students have to pass judgement on a whole variety of crimes and then justify their reasons. Could be used as a springboard for a class discussion or an essay. There are lots of examples so you will probably want to edit them or distribute them among the class.

a worksheet on vocabulary and ideas in French on the criminal justice system. I made this for an A2 observed lesson for a job interview. I didn't get the job but I thought this worksheet might be useful to someone out there!
