Emotion Check In Sunflower Display
Sunflower display with different emotions and a variety of synonyms for each emotion. I use this in my class to gauge how children are feeling each day. The children put their lollipop stick into the appropriate cup so no one else can see their names, and I check them when they are completing soft start activities. Also helps children expand their vocabulary around the different emotions they can experience!
Back to School Activity: Time Capsule
Two resources included for a time capsule activity: an ‘all about me’ worksheet and a measurement activity.
As well as this, I added in their handprint which they designed, a first day photo, and a piece of artwork.
Visual Class Jobs
Simple display for class jobs. I use the space to stick the children’s photos on to make it as visual as possible for younger learners.
Editable on ppt.
Voice-o-meter
Editable, simple but effective voice-o-meter for classroom management. Could be used with pegs or lights next to it to mark where the volume should be. I usually have a voice monitor as a class job to give the children responsibility for the noise management!
Please tag me on Instagram @missedwards94 or Twitter @misscedwards if you use this in your classroom or adapt it to make it your own!
Thanks, enjoy!
Ask 3 Before Me Display Poster
Simple, editable poster to foster independence in the children. The ‘Ask 3 Before Me’ approach I have gone for encourages children to think about the instructions they were given, look at the board for clues, ask a buddy for help, then if they’re still stuck, ask the teacher.
Please tag me on Instagram @missedwards94 or Twitter @misscedwards if you use this or adapt it in your classroom as I’d love to see!
Thank you, enjoy!
French Numbers to 100 Posters
French display cards from 1-100 (1-20 then counting up in tens from there). Available to download as a PowerPoint to edit, or a PDF version to keep the font. Could also be used as flashcards to help with pronunciation.
Thank you, enjoy!
Tray and Peg Labels
Tray and peg labels with a choice of pastel rainbow or bee theme, or a mix of both! Labels created to fit standard classroom trays, however peg sizes may vary depending on the cloakroom style.
Fully editable through PowerPoint, just click on the ‘Name’ to amend.
Hope they are useful in the prep for back to school!
Desk Name Labels EYFS
Pastel rainbow themed name labels which can be stuck onto a child’s desk. As it has the alphabet, numbers and ‘left’ and ‘right’ hands on it, it is most suited for EYFS/early years, however can easily be adapted to suit upper stages or used to aid pupils who struggle with letter or number formation etc.
Fully editable on a PowerPoint, however please note the font may change. I have also included an uneditable PDF to write the names onto once printed if preferred.
Hope this helps in the prep for back to school!
Number Names Worksheets
Two simple worksheets to practise and consolidate number names from 0-5.
First worksheet: trace and match number names to 5.
Second worksheet: reading the number name and drawing that number of flowers in the flower pot.
I sent these home as homework activities, however can be used in Smart Pals/laminated to be used again and again in class too!
Hope these are useful.
Numbers Before and After/1 More 1 Less to 20
Simple number cards to fill in before and after/1 more, 1 less. I am planning to use these with number stones but could easily use different resources such as magnetic numbers or writing in the missing numbers.
Hope these are useful!
Find a Friend Bingo
A simple bingo worksheet which children use as an icebreaker with peers in their class. The idea is that they ask peers questions to find a name for every box. Ideally would only be using a name once if possible!
Downloadable as a PDF to keep the font or Word to edit.
Multiplication and Division Fact Families
A simple ‘roll the dice’ activity to explore the relationship between multiplication and division. Can be laminated/put inside a SMART Pal and written on with whiteboard pen to be reused.
Hope you find this resource useful!
Rounding Dice Game
Simple dice game to make rounding a bit more fun! Children can complete this individually or in pairs/small groups. I used this as a fast finisher task. I have also included an example to show the children and support them to complete it independently.
Hope this helps!
Build the Number Cubes Activity
A simple activity which I put into SmartPals (but could also be laminated). The children have to read the number and build a tower with that number of cubes. This allows the children to visually see which numbers are bigger, by the height of the towers.
There are two worksheets - one to 10, and one to 20 as a challenge (I used this in P1).
Hope these are useful!
Morning Greetings
Visual posters for children to choose how they are greeted in the morning. I find these are extremely beneficial in fostering positive relationships with the children, as it gives me time to see them individually each morning as they come in the door!
Greeting options included in this set are:
Fist bump
Say good morning
Wave
High Five
Hug
Sign Language
Something Else (the kids love coming up with new ways, e.g. secret handshake, different language they know etc)
I have uploaded the PDF version which can be printed to any size - I scaled mine to A5 to stick on my door. As it is PDF it is uneditable - if you wish to add a new suggestion, please send me a DM on my teacher instagram @missedwards94 and I can edit and send you this over after purchasing.
Thank you!

These were made to suit the dimensions of the IKEA Trofast trays (both normal and bigger size within units). I have included the PDF version to keep the font, or the PPT to edit to a different font, colour or to add any resources.
