List of 50 words with translation - vocabulary of Food in French.
Quizlet link for practice
“open” vocab test.
I gave my students a list of 50 items (some new, some familiar), and a quizlet link to help them practice.
The test required them to write down 20 words with their translation in English.
I found good levels of motivation and success in this test, since the students would write what they knew, but still needed 20 words correctly spelt.

Worksheets to observe and take apart a model writing for the Q3 writing of the Cambridge IGCSE (could be easily adapted to Edexel IGCSE, or other GCSE exams).
This was done as feedback on the CIE IGCSE writing paper 0520/43 of May/June 2021, and to help GCSE students get clear expectations of what they need to do in this writing.
It gets students to observe a model writing and assess if the task has been properly completed + identify complex structures used in the writing.
Then, They have another writing subject, broken down so they can work through the steps of the preparation.
Can be given as homework/cover or be done in groups in class.
Was very helpful weeks before the exam as revisions.

Lesson to introduce students to the conversation part of the GCSE Speaking exam. Used for Y10 students for their end of year speaking exam, but can be useful for revisions.
Created for AQA GCSE but easily adapted for other exam boards.
