Here I have 2 lessons with slight differences. For lower ability students I have premade a worksheet for teachers to print out their colour wheel and students paint the template. For higher avbility students the other powerpoint guides pupils through drawing their own colour wheel.

I personally made these worksheets for some troublesome boys in my lessons who refused to engage in other tasks or who had to be removed from lesson and needed something to keep busy with. A good worksheet to introduce students to a sweets still life unit. Great for making sure they know about reflections, proportion, scale and realism. A3 PDF download.

A3 worksheet. Students will have a limited time (30-50 mins) to compelte their circle sheet. They must think of and draw as many objects that are naturally circular as possible. I minus points from students who have all copied eachother at their table. I give extra points to those who have really imaginative objects that I might not have thought of for my answer sheet. At the end, the student who has the best drawings/ designs and best ideas will win - usually house points, no homework, a packet of sweets - whatever is suitable to your school. Don’t let them see my answer sheet until the end! A3 digital download.
