KS4 Physics GCSE Motor Effect Literacy Starter Game

Just a quick little activity to help get KS4 students thinking. All you have to do to use it is ask the students to read the information card then working in pairs, roll a dice to which question they ask each other based on the the text they have read. You can use questioning after to assess students progress. Give it a go, I still cant believe how well it has worked for me

AQA P2 Learning Grid Game Revision Activity

This resource is made up of 7 separate learning grids to help students revise. Each pair of students simply need to roll two dice to pick what they need to explain to the person they are working with. The only extra thing you will need are exam questions for each section. Revision Battle Ships Template

It's pretty straight forward, I remember loving playing battle ships and got inspired. It was one of the greatest moments of my teaching carrier seeing a class of Y11s playing battle ships. How it works is almost self explanatory. Fill the information section in with what ever you want and then fill out the question grid with questions on the information. I hope anyone who has a go has as much fun as I have

Science Revision Labyrinth

This is an idea for an activity that I have used with my Y11 students to revise with. Basically you need to build a labyrinth for students to work their way through with revision questions and activities as they make their way round it. As students try and get through you can intercept them with goblins and make them answer 6 mark questions. Most of the activities and questions are included in the power point and there are lots of question cards on TES that you can use. This probably isn't the best description but as we're all revising at the moment I hope it helps spice things up. Thanks for looking

Wall to Science GCSE Exam Success

This has been something that I've tried with my Y11 students with some success. It is designed to give students something small to do every day. By providing an example for each piece students will see what they need to and you can confidently say that each piece only takes 15 mins or less. I've also included the sheet that I've given to my Y11's going through everything they need to do in the 6 weeks leading up to the exams. I hope that you find this helpful Follow me @teacherchalky1
