Last 5 pages have generic recall grids, again used as starters to test pupils’ short and long term knowledge of the set texts.

Used as starters / bell tasks with KS4 Media Studies pupils.
38 slides, including answers (yellow slides).
Questions range from 1 - 4 marks.
Questions mainly cover Component 1, Sections A and B.
Obviously, adaptable to suit pupil ability.
Pupils given a little booklet containing multiple blank versions of the grid, to use at the start of each lesson.
Peer marking.
Pupils who achieve over 20 / 24 marks (depending on ability) get a chocolate biscuit! Has worked wonders for years!

Makes an ideal A3 booklet
Used successfully with my year 11’s during a learning walk focussed on feedback to pupils after their mocks. Outcome considered ‘Excellent’.
Activities ask pupils to ‘Review’, ‘Reflect’ and ‘Repsond’ to exemplar material and their own responses.
The mock Literature question was:
In ‘Scaffolding’, how does the poet present the speaker’s
feelings about their relationship?
… but the template could easily be adopted to other poems / texts.
