A fantastic two lesson sequence about the Afterlife and Mummification. The first Smart Notebook gives the opportunity to either present a wealth of fascinating information on what the Ancient Egyptians believed about the afterlife or else print it for the students to highlight and make notes. The lesson concludes with the pupils comparing and identifying what the Ancient Egyptians would have taken into the afterlife and what they themselves would take with them. The second lesson involves the students mummifying a doll such as a Barbie.
