This resource is aimed at KS1 (ages 5 -7) and KS2 (ages 7 -11) pupils. It includes two pdf worksheets that can be downloaded and photocopied onto 300gsm card. Pupils then colour them in, cut out the shapes and slots, and assemble the standing soldier with detachable shield. The pieces can be taken apart and put in a book bag. Activity should take approx 40 minutes.
