Functional Skills Maths Spot The Mistakes Workbook L1

(0)
Spot the Mistake Workbook Suitable for Functional Skill Level 1 Maths students. It includes a 9 page worksheet of 20 L1 Exam Type questions. Having reviewed the examiners reports for functional skills and noticing common misconceptions in class I have put together 20 Functional Skills Maths revision questions at Level 1. They are functional skills questions answered incorrectly covering common areas such as scale drawing, averages to name but a few. The learners have to answer correctly and explain why Barry was wrong. This has worked really as it allows the students to see common mistakes and misconceptions and for them to correct them. By explaining the errors they spot it promotes higher order thinking. This lesson teaches students How to complete Exam questions correctly Makes them aware of common mistakes Duration:1 lesson If you like it leave a review.

The digital version is a Super Mario Themed Escape room task made using Google Forms. Learners have to answer a question and their answer will form the 4 digit code that will unlock the lock and allow them to move to the next question.
