Included - two differentiated versions of a model recount text about the Viking attack on Lindisfarne. One version asks students to shade and colour code all of the features of a recount text, plus some follow up questions (more challenging). The other version asks students to identify the features of a recount text by using the colour code, plus some follow up questions (less challenging). A great tool for teaching recount texts in class, or as a guided reading, homework or extension activity, whilst learning about the Vikings.
