A complete coursework template for the GCSE D&T 1-9. The document contains templates for all sections of the non examined assessment, complete with some example pages and a student guidance booklet to be used by students alongside the template document, to check off pages as and when completed. Written using the OCR specification as guidance, although can be used for all exam boards assessing D&T non examed assesment through grades 1-9. Can be used for RM, Product Design or Textiles specialisms.
A 10 task graphic design project which introduces students to the fundamentals of graphic design, and encourages them to use these newly acquired design skills to create music/album artwork for two genres.
Suitable for KS3 or KS4. The project itself focuses on merging 2 genres to creatively come with new artwork for a CD cover/playlist artwork. This can be done digitally or by hand.
All tasks are clearly explained with visual examples for many. There is assessment criteria which students can use to self assess.
There is also a music flyer extension task for those students who would benefit from stretch and challenge.
GCSE Engineering L2 Component 2 resource bundle.
There are three PowerPoints in total, one PowerPoint covers Learning Aim A and the two covers Learning Aim B & C - all three of which make up Component 2 of the Pearson/BTEC Engineering GCSE qualification.
The resources are clearly developed to allow the students to use them as work booklets. The tasks can be completed using the guidance/sentence starters on each slide.
All tasks are numbered, and have been created in line with Distinction criteria examples from the exam board.

GCSE Product Design: Design Consideration for Product Launch.
This PowerPoint contains a full lesson which explains Market Pull and Technology Push, as well as how products are developed and launched as a result of marketing and advertising.

Logo Design Home Learning Project, 5 hours worth of lesson content.
Fully differentiated tasks with self assessment criteria for each.
Students are encouraged to investigate a brand of interest and re-design their logo. Project can be completed on digital design software or by hand. The project encourages iterative design and constant analysis and reflection of work to enhance outcomes, and create a logo suitable for their selected brand.
Suitable for KS3 and KS4 students studying Art and Design and D&T.
A great project for introducing students to the content of GCSE Art & Design (Graphic Communication).
The project is fully booklet based, and students produce work directly in the booklet, or digital and print it and glue into the appropriate titled page. There is a teacher led supporting PowerPoint included which shows more examples to help those who need additional support.
Suitable for KS3 or KS4. The project is based around creating design work in the style of a designer of choice which also matches a chosen theme. Examples are given at the start of the booklet.
There is also a PDF included which shows a range of other exam board approved designers which students can use as inspiration for their design work.
