In this geography exercise, you will find a world map to complete, by writing the oceans and continents in the right place (12 boxes to complete).
An answer key is included.
In this geography exercise, you will find two pages with different countries of the world. Each time you have to fill in the corresponding country and its capital.
There are about thirty countries in all.
An answer key is included (2 pages).
This exercise is intended for students in the middle school and up. This subject is also suitable for adults (from level A2). It can be downloaded in PDF format.
This map will help your students identify the main English speaking countries. You will find 9 arrows where they can write the name of the appropriate English speaking country.
This is suitable for young English speaking students as well as ESL students.
For this sheet, I used the Gall-Peters projection, which offers a more reliable representation of the world map (instead of the Mercator projection, which is overused but not quite accurate!).
I already used it during my courses and had a good outcome.
You will find a Word document (DOC) that can be easily edited, as well as a printable PDF.
This worksheet contains a crossword puzzle (mots croisés) on the topic of masculine and feminine in French (masculin et féminin). It was made by myself, a French teacher living in France.
It is a funny way to teach the feminine form of some words, which can be quite difficult in French.

This document includes 4 pages of exercises on the theme of Brittany and tourism. After a short introduction on this region, you will be able to read a booking confirmation e-mail from a Brittany hotel.
This is followed by six questions about the text (written comprehension), then a question about geography: the aim is to locate Brittany on a map of France.
Then comes an exercise in written expression (or oral expression, depending on the teacher’s choice): you would like to come to the hotel one day earlier, and should therefore write an e-mail to the establishment to find out if this is possible.
You will then be asked to write a letter to the hotel, in which the client will state his or her complaints because he or she did not enjoy the stay. The formatting of the letter is visible to help the writer.
Finally, a final exercise will ask the learner to write a Google review of the hotel.
The expected level for these exercises is A2 minimum, preferably B1-B2.
All these exercises have detailed answers, with writing examples.
