7 lessons exploring the Islamic celebration of Ramadan, aimed at KS2 children. The lessons explore when Ramadan is, what happens during and at the end of the month, the meaning behind it and its origin. If possible, to extend the children’s learning, there is opportunity to invite a visitor in to understand and hear their experience of Ramadan. If this is not possible, this lesson can be a research based lesson using the internet, or it can be skipped.
