A worksheet that can be used as a Do Now activity testing the students on the names of the tools they use on this software. I have also included a powerpoint slide which goes over the answers - all have animations on them so they come up one by one. I go over the answers with the whole class and students can peer assess eachothers work. It is also a great way to recap and discuss the main tools they will need to be using in the lesson.

I have uploaded the full lesson for you that has a starter activity and plenary activity. Starter/Do Now Activity Lesson Powerpoint Step by Step worksheets (pages 1-6) All equipment needed for this The step by step I have created is really great in helping students work independently in the class. What I normally do when I teach the students is first demonstrate to the class how to make a lap joint. I don’t explain to them how to do it but instead ask each student to read out the step to me. Once they read it out I then show them what to do - This works a treat! I have also uploaded the ppt versions so you can edit this yourself.
