El San Valentín

Valentine’s resource made for my Y8 groups who are currently working on a food-related theme. We looked at food ‘love matches’ or perfect pairings of food, then completed a patchwork poetry translation, and then finally students created an adapted version of the poetry for themselves. They loved it

EL RACISMO

(1)
A resource designed for KS3 home learning for my Y7 Spanish students inspired by recent events with George Floyd to explore racism in a very simple way. The file contains colour revision, a look at the Jerome Ruillier book ‘Hombre de Color’ and a couple of follow up activities. The final activity was intended to bring student work together for display when (if) we return to school. The audio files have been removed but hopefully this is helpful for someone.

A French resource designed for home learning aimed at KS3 students to explore feelings about racism in a very simple way. Includes colour revision, a read through of the Jerome Ruillier ‘Homme de Couleur’ plus a final activity I intended to pull together for a display activity. I have removed my audio instructions, but hopefully this is still useful.

A short presentation on Pyeongchang 2018. I used information borrowed from Richardtownend1978 which was in English. Intend to use as a Scavenger Reading activity with his reading comprehension sheet in English. Struggled with the translation of some of the new events - please feel free to advise about corrections.

I adapted this resource from the work of 'ali20' to enable my GCSE French group to create a description of a school visit in the past which will feed into their Controlled Assessment on School.

This is a stick in sheet for student exercise books to help with ASL which I have tried to write in student friendly language. I'm still not completely happy with the wording of it but I&'d appreciate any suggestions for improvement. Hopefully it will be of use.

Here is a ppt for use on European Day of Langs. I have just added the Yorkshire and local dialect references. We have used it in our assembly which is approx 20 mins and it worked with KS3 and KS4 also. Its probably too long on its own but you can doctor the pages to suit your own needs.
