This is an opportunity to introduce an engaging unit of work based on writing the biography of a significant children's author. This resource is aimed at upper KS2 pupils (Years 5&6) but could also be used with years 7&8.
There are opportunities for focused research, proof reading, writing in chronological order and producing a final piece of biographical writing. This resource also includes a highly stimulating initial PowerPoint presentation, suggestions for success criteria, a national reading test style comprehension and a KWL grid.
This resource will take several weeks to complete and all materials can be modified to suit your needs.
