This is 5 weeks worth of home learning activities for KS3 Drama students and includes different activities for year 7 and 8 students . Each week has an appreciation, creative and performing task for students to select from and submit. Some of the creative tasks have been inspired/adapted from work from other practitioners. Each activity has an explicate intention for students to support intent>implement> impact. :)

This is a menu used as part of home learning for KS3 students. The intention of the activity is to develop students ability to respond to a stimulus. Due to the reference to covid 19 - this also acts as a way for students to reflect upon their emotions.

This is a SOW which was created to support KS4 drama. It was created as part of the WJEC GCSE Unit 1 (devising) unit, focusing on the practitioner Brecht.

This is a menu that I have set for my KS3 students as part of their distance learning. This involves students developing knowledge of Drama Practitioners. The students select a practitioner and complete a range of creative and research activities to develop their knowledge. There is also an opportunity for students to complete performance tasks. This task can be used to support distance learning, or as a homework.

This is a booklet I have used with Drama students to support the written elements of component 3 (A1, A2,A4) . It offers students a WAGOLL for each activity and also references the assessment criteria.

If like me, you lose access to your Drama studio during exams, this resource’s aim is to make sure that theory/classroom based lessons are still valuable. This includes seven lessons worth of theory activities that are based upon the expectation (yet a differentiated version of) of students at KS4 (BTEC Technical Award). This is a bundle of work which is used to evidence my Drama and Dance students component 1 (btec technical award - LAA and LAB) This includes: A range of work analysis booklets that students work through to evidence LAA. A booklet that evidences LAB Each booklet includes model examples and scaffolds to support learners.

This is a worksheet i created for students as an alternative to practical work. It lets them explore why drama is important for their development.

This is a selection of images that can be used as a stimulus for creative writing. For each image there is a caption which could also assist the creative process. These images have also been used in my KS3 drama lessons as starting points for drama.

This is a lesson which was used as an introduction to the elements of dance, students create each task to build their own routine.

This is a task I completed with KS3 as an introduction to dance, each student had a table and the key words were stuck around the room and I have students five minutes, to put the key word in the correct box. Students then kept this resource to refer to when providing feedback.

This was a lesson which I taught as an interview lesson, which was successful! It asks students to create a modern day Cinderella as an introduction to a fairy-tale unit of work.

These were designed for students who are removed, or cannot take part in practical dance or drama.

This is a lesson which I taught as my first lesson with KS3 and KS4 English groups. It allowed us to get to know one another, whilst assessing their ability to aid my planning.

This is a KS3 Drama SOW which is based around the life of the boxer Muhammad Ali. This includes, six five - six lessons based around the boxers achievements. This was created for a boy heavy group and was very successful.
