I have designed this to allow children some freedom to chose which challenge they would like to complete as they arrive in the morning. The writing mat can be laminated and used alongside the power point to allow the children somewhere to record their answers. Here is a resource i have made for my class to recap place value style questions in maths. There is a total of 15 days worth. I display this on the board as a morning starter and then go through the answers with the children on the Interactive Whiteboard before starting my lesson.
