Hello all! I'm Jinky, a primary maths teacher and Maths Academic Coordinator at Beaconhouse Yamsaard Rangsit, Thailand. One of my joy is to find time to take photos of anything I think interesting. If I am not chasing cats or taking photos, I am busy with putting pieces together and come up with colourful banners, borders for paper, numbers and alphabet. I am offering discounts for my resources from time to time. So, please check out my page. 'Thank you' for stopping by.

Cardinal and Ordinal Direction Poster

Direction is one of the basic geography concepts that students need to master before moving on to reading maps and diagrams. I used this poster to expain the ‘clockwise’ and ‘anti-clockwise’ and the angles (45, 90, 135 degrees etc) between a cardinal and an ordinal direction. A great classroom game too. Afterwards, I used a real map to ask the pupils to name different places located in different directions. I displayed this poster for the pupils to relate to when reading maps during their free time.

KS2 Units of Measurement for Cube and Cuboid

This is a simple clear demonstration about the units of cube and cuboid. Discuss with your pupils the difference between metre, square metre and cubic metre. As a primary teacher, I usually create a colourful visual stimulation presentation to grab their attention. I add colours to make the demonstration more interesting yet informative. You may use this as a classroom game as I have included few examples with the correct answers. Hope you find this helpful.

‘Respect’ posters to display in the classrooms to help them develop their ‘self- respect and respect towards people around them. Please do not forget that the best way to teach your students about respect is for you to show respect to yourself, your students, and others. Children are greatly influenced throughout their day by adults – whether it be a parent or a teacher. Observing respectful adult behavior helps your child learn the value of respect and how to use it to his or her advantage.
