This is an excellent resource that students can work through for revision or set homework tasks. It covers the Families and Households, Education and Research Methods topic.
It is a task focused booklet as opposed to a content overview booklet. It requires students to fill in the pages, providing prompts to direct their revision.
The booklet is designed to align with the AQA sociology specification, covering key theories and concepts. The booklet begins with an overview of the question type and what is expected.
There is a then a sheet to be filled in for each of the topics within each module, as listed below:

Gender role and relationships
Social Policy
Changing Family Patterns
Family Diversity
Demography
Childhood
Education

Sociology AQA Research Methods Overview
A comprehensive overview of each Research Method provided in a summary grid for each method.
Practical, Ethical and Theoretical strengths and limitations provided for each method.
This will enable you to formulate a 20 mark essay on a research method, particularly the methods in context question on Paper 1, as well as answer 10 mark questions on a research method. This is therefore very useful for Paper 1 and Paper 2
This is an excellent revision resource, as well as a teaching resource too.
Sociology A level Theory (the debates) overview.
This resource focuses of three topic areas:
-Is Sociology a Science?
-Value free and objectivity
-Sociology and social policy
These are sometimes referred to as the theoretical debates.
These topics can be assessed in paper 1 and paper 3 of the A Level aqa Sociology exams.
This resource is an accessible one-sided summary for each of these topic areas. Really helpful for students and teachers who want to quickly get their head around this content.
