I developed these spelling journals years ago after a course gave me the inspiration and I have used them with my pupils ever since. The idea is that they put in words the teacher has highlighted in their work as misspelled in with their writing tasks but they can also be used for class spelling lists as well. The children take ownership by practicing the 5 or ten words through the week, either at home or during school time. The teacher just checks them at the end of the week/when they know all the words and either puts a smiley face in the end column or an arrow. The arrow means that that word gets transferred to the next page to be practiced another week.
I have re jazzed these to share.
This game can be laminated and used with whiteboard pens so can be used again and again, or photocopied. Just number 1 dice with 2,2,5,5,10,10 and another dice with 4,5,6,7,8,9.
Children take turns to roll both dice and circle the number. The first to get four in a row is the winner.
My pupils love this game. A fun way to learn those middle calculations that children tend to find trickier to remember.
If you love this resource, look for my multiplication games pack which includes 3,4,5 times tables mixed; 6,7,8 times tables mixed; and 3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9 times tables mixed; and a blank game which you can differentiate even further for individual pupils.
Students cut out the boxes and match the impacts of drought with the descriptions. Could be used as a starting point, for revision or for making posters.
A handy mini book which could be photocopied A4 or enlarged to A3. With a couple of folds and one cut, it turns into a mini book. Includes a contents page so lends itself perfectly to a non-fiction writing text for young children.
Please ask if you have any questions.
This can either be used a a poster, as a teacher aid on the Interactive whiteboard, or laminate and children can draw hands with a whiteboard pen. Or why not, print, laminate and add two card hands using a split pin and you have a working clock poster.

If you like this worksheet, look out for my packs which will cover analogue, digital, 24 hr time and problems involving time.
