Battleships (suitable for higher tier). Pupils use the sentence co-ordinates to locate each others' ships. The ships are the opinion sentences already written in the grids. The verboten just speeds the game up- pupils either don;t ask about these squares or the teacher can remove them to make the game last longer. The winner is the first to find the other person's 6 sentences. All sentences and opinions are in the perfect tense, so the game practises C- grade or above sentences.

Click once to pick up the coin (then let go of the click)... drag the coin to the dustbin if its not a real word, or to the treasure chest if it is a real word, then click again to drop the coin.
