Report Writing Task. The learner has a report writing task to complete. They can plan and format their report correctly by using the included report writing template.

Get learners to cut out the cards which feature nine key quotes from the poem. On the back of each card they can write an analysis of the quote or even laminate the cards to use as revision cards. Poetry exam question game. Learners will roll a die and then answer the question that the die lands on. Cube task sheet. Get learners to cut out and glue the cube together and when they have done this, they will roll the cube and complete the nominated question. Questions relate to the poem.

I created this task for the Poetry Anthology revision lesson. The learners were asked to write a short summary of each of the fifteen poems and write a short overview of the context of that poem on the back of the card. This was to refresh their knowledge in preparation of their mock exams. Four cards per sheet. Print double sided on short flip edge.

Players will roll a die and move that number of spaces on the game board. If a player lands on a ladder, they can climb to the top of it. If a player lands on a snake, they need to slide back down to the bottom. If a player lands on a number which contains an orange star, then they have to pick up a quiz card. If a player answers the question correctly, they move forward two spaces. However, if they answer the question incorrectly, they have to move backwards three spaces.
