This is a part finished (i.e. work in progress) for NZ NCEA course specific material and is aimed at providing guidance in graphing data for the PHY3-1 investigation. It contains hints and tips about the “steps-up” that are expected when plotting graphs for the year 13 Physics Investigation so the students know which hoops to jump through! It might be useful for non-physics specialist or those unfamiliar with the NZ course.

A Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet to check correct reprocessing of uncertainties for the Physics 3-1 investigation. Intended as a checking aid for teachers when marking assignments where error and uncertainties have to be reprocessed for data transformed into squared, square root or inverse values. Automatically converts absolute uncertainty values into percentage uncertainty and operates the transformations necessary, Should be self evident to those who undertake this assessment.
