Year 3 Addition and Subtraction - 3-digit - 1-digit Triple Lesson Bundle (exchanging)
A triple lesson bundle aimed at Year 3 for adding a 1-digit number to a 3-digit number that requires carrying.
Included is:
A single introductory lesson that includes:
A fully-resourced lesson aimed at an objective based on being able to subtract a 1-digit number from a 3-digit number where exchanging/ renaming is needed.
Included is a lesson PowerPoint that includes an arithmetic starter for the lesson, key vocabulary, modelling and discussion as well as guided practice. This then moves on to an independent activity and challenge questions, with answers included for these.
Base 10 will also be needed to support the learning as this acts as an introductory lesson which mixes between using Base 10 and modelling the written method alongside this.
A follow up double lesson that includes:

Activities include a variety of question types, including questions that help show commutativity, inverse and multiples of 10, 0.1 etc., filling in tables that require children to make links between different facts, completing sequences, using written multiplication and division using facts from the times tables and within some activities that include calculating with fractions or creating representations of the facts.
Answer booklets are also included for each separate times table.

7x Tables Activities (30 activities)
30 different activities linked to the 7x table that give the opportunity to work on and improve understanding of the 7x table facts in different ways.
This includes activities that range from list questions that help show commutativity, inverse and multiples of 10, 0.1 etc., filling in tables that require children to make links between different facts, completing sequences that link to the ability to count in 7s and using written multiplication and division using facts from the 7x table. Additionally, there are tasks linked to fractions in simplifying fractions, finding fractions of amounts, multiplying and dividing fractions by whole numbers and multiplying a fraction by a fraction. There are also activities looking at number sentences from given facts including commutative and inverse, representations and always, sometimes, never.
Answers are also included for every activity in a separate booklet.

Place Value Slides
A set of 20 slides that can be used as a lesson presentation to work on the place value of numbers. Included are a range of questions and a number of visual representations with place value counters to help children understand how the different values work.
Place Value Slides and Worksheets
A fully resourced lesson for place value, written for Year 6 but easily adaptable. The resources included provide enough work for two sessions.

A set of 20 slides that can be used as a lesson presentation to work on the place value of numbers. Included are a range of questions and a number of visual representations with place value counters to help children understand how the different values work.
Also included are a set of three differentiated worksheets that work on place value for Year 6 children. Having used a similar format in my own lessons, these sheets often provide enough challenge for two days lessons, with children taking on the easier work then moving on to harder challenges within the other sheets.
These have all been made with mastery in mind and so follow this pattern.
