Mini-assessments that cover nearly all of the curriculum statements for Year 5 Maths. The only statements missing relate to estimations and some of the shape statements. The idea is that if they can do a particular question without any teaching or a few weeks after some teaching then you have the evidence to tick and say they can do it. Question 1 generally relates to beginning, 2 is middleish with the third question then helping show they are secure in that statement.

This then moves on to working through practice examples and questions where there is chance for children to practice before seeing if they are right.
