This is a resource which works very well as a display and doubles up for shape activities. There is a colour poster showing 25 different circle shaped objects that children may be familiar with - linking shape to real world. There is a template included for children to draw their own objects within circles. Each picture shape is duplicated with 2 to a page. This is a useful matching activity as well as encouraging speaking and listening. Shape pictures include: types of balls, food items, signs and coins. Extend the activity with children looking around the school or classroom for circular objects and taking pictures. These can also be made into collages or posters.
