A 24 page workbook which begins with different forms of ACTION taken by campaign groups to force change (direct, indirect and illegal) Then work on the action taken by a number of groups: The Suffragettes, The IRA, THE EDL and ISIL/ISIS. The texts can be read alongside youtube clips or pupils can simply answer the comprehension questions. Pupils assess how 'EXTREME' these actions are after working on the definition of EXTREMISM. It moves through to TERRORISM and how terrorist organisation recruit young people, how people become RADICALISED and what you should do if you suspect someone is being radicalised.
