Sometimes students can get stressed about group work, remembering lines or performing. This chill out pass enables them to have time to calm down before the situation escalates. The pass can be easily printed and laminated. It is relatively self explanatory but when introducing the pass be clear about the rules so that it is not misused.
This unit of work was influenced and adapted from Woman In Black Education Pack - written by Mark Palmer (Director of Learning for Creative and Media, Wildern School, Southampton)
It explores different dramatic techniques whilst focusing on the story of Woman In Black. The SOW explores a variety of differing drama skills including set design/ editing and creative writing.
