Hi all! We teach Computing across different schools and often get asked for interactive resources - so that's what we make. Most resources you will find on here are interactive activities for the children to complete, either on their own device or as an interactive whiteboard activity! Please feel free to send requests or for variations of things found in our shop.

Let’s get Nursery and Reception typing!
Whilst the youngest children are super tech savvy these days, we sometimes forget to teach the basics. This activity introduces EYFS children to typing words on a computer. For this activity we recommend running carpet sessions with small groups of children. Ideally, have this PowerPoint displayed on your interactive white board and use a wireless keyboard that can be passed around the group to type onto. (For your keyboard, we highly recommend buying some lower case letter stickers to stick on the keys!)
Work through each slide following the instructions at the beginning of each section. The sections are as follows:
Copying letters
Initial sounds - type the letter of the initial sound for the pictured animal
CVC - type out the cvc words
Copy the whole word
Type your name
Type the alphabet
We have a new guide of how to create a treasure chest in PowerPoint.

Following the release of more direction from the DfE about the teaching of music, I have made a genre list for the whole school to use.
This document can be viewed here:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/teaching-music-in-schools?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=govuk-notifications&utm_source=f117e1e5-d3de-4d85-8a42-715398e7d9bd&utm_content=daily
Each month, the children will be listening to a different genre. Most of these have been taken directly from the DfE document listed above. Where the children need to listen to a specific song, this has been added along with the composer of the song.
To help support this, I have used posters from Twinkl with descriptions about each genre.
Hopefully this will helpful to those Music leaders trying to ensure we are listening to a broad variety of music.

My name is Martin Goulden and I’ve worked in Primary Schools for over 10 years, first as a TA and now as an independent Computing specialist. As my wife is a teacher, I know the pressure that teachers are under in order to provide individualised learning, assessment and feedback for each child. I once saw a teacher spend hours and hours preparing and then marking a handful of individualised arithmetic questions only to find that, as usual, some children had completely missed the mark. I had to help, not just the teachers to save the hours of prep and marking time but the children too, to give them instant feedback and satisfaction during their arithmetic sessions.
It has taken me around 100 hours to create this resource in the hope that it will collectively save teachers thousands of hours and provide children with a great platform to learn from.
A beautiful variety of dinosaur themed writing templates in landscape.
Several pages of each, differentiated with varying amounts of lines and line thicknesses.
Why not make some of your own dinosaurs using an interactive, drag-and-drop activity?
It’s a perfect activity for the interactive whiteboard or for the children to work independently on the computer:
