Presented in eight steps, with clear directions, students will be forced to analyze critically and reflect on the information presented in any assigned text. Some of the prompts include items such as "two words describing a support detail" or "four words describing the author's purpose" or "six important vocabulary words". Each line adds one more space. This can be applied in a multitude of settings or differentiated by using fewer lines, etc. Have fun!
