Hello! I use this resource as a classroom management tool. It’s cut out and laminated and I use a simple wooden peg to indicate which level of noise we should be using. Although we never use our outside voice inside the classroom, it’s good to have it there so that children understand the difference and the appropriate time/place to use it. This document is a PDF.

Adding and Subtracting Tens Worksheet (Maths)

Hello! This resource is perfect if you’re in need of an activity to work on adding and subtracting tens. The first set of questions focus on taking or adding one ten. There is a hundred square on the page as support. At the bottom of the page children have the chance to work on taking or adding more than one ten. They might use the working out space to draw tens and one or they could still use the hundred square. Font used is sassoon penpals. I use the acronym WATA (we are thinking about) but this could easily be changed to LO or similar.

Hello! A great way to sneak some maths into your attendance poster. Edit to include your own class name and number of children, print and laminate. You can then update with whiteboard pen each day. Top tip - hand san is your best friend when it comes to cleaning whiteboard pen off of laminated resources! Font used is sassoon penpals.

Hello! I’ve used this resource when working in KS1 as I try to sneak some of our geography objectives into the daily routines. Five placards for the five oceans, each with a title and accompanying picture. You could use this as part of a geography display too. This is a PDF and cannot be edited.
