Rosalía de Castro - Spanish A Level
This resources is aimed at A Level students or students who are interested in either literature or poetry. Rosalía de Castro was a very important poet, especially in Galicia and for women as well. This resource works on the situation of single mothers in Spain at the time, the poet itself as well as one of her well-known poems.
The task is divided in:
Reflecting about the importance of the poet.
Watching different short clips about her and answering questions.
Reflect on the meaning of some words that appear in her poem.
Find out the meaning of some verses in her poem.
Listening/reading the poem and reflecting about it.
It’s a fairly independent worksheet that can be done with access to youtube and a dictionary.

La ruta modernista - Spanish A Level
This is a Google Sites for A Level students or GCSE students going into A Level to investigate and do some independent work about Spanish architecture, in this case mainly the Modernist movement through Barcelona’s architecture.
In this Google Sties students will mainly work on:
Listening skills
Reading skills
Culture (architecture)

Friendship - Spanish to English to Spanish translation
If you are teaching Friendship and relationships in Spanish and you want to help your students with it this might be a good idea in order to work most of the skills: reading, writing & translating. There are different levels of difficulty.
Instructions:
Decide which level of difficulty you want to give to each student.
Ask them to fold the paper so they can only see the Spanish version. Give them some time to read it.
Then they have to fold the last part so they can only see the Spanish version and the help given to translate it in the second box.
Finally they fold the first part so they can not see the original version and they try to translate it from English to Spanish
