Printable Daily Spelling Workbook - 5-Minute, Fun Tasks for KS2

(0)
Need a stress-free morning task for spelling or valuable settling activity? Perhaps you need something that can be sent home to support with weekly spelling practice that the children will actually want to complete! With these fun, daily 5-minute tasks, pupils will really enjoy practising their spellings at school (or at home). Children can work independently, focusing on one word in a range of ways, each day. The pack includes printable workbook with 6 week’s worth of spelling activities. At the end of each week is an additional activity (challenge) where students can apply their spelling knowledge in different ways. The front cover of the booklet has a space for name and class and gives children reminders and examples of key vocabulary meanings, such as: Mnemonic, syllable, consonant, vowel, and an example of the spelling pyramid. This enables your class to be as independent as possible. Some of these practice methods may be familiar, such as a ‘spelling pyramid’, or ‘rainbow writing,’ but the many of the tasks are totally unique and enable the children to be creative!
