3 tutor time activities included. These are also ideal for home learning with year 6 students starting secondary school in September.
This Quizmajig collection of tutor time tasks are ideal in the back to school season when you have lots to do during tutor periods, perfect for the first week back when you meet your new class. You might equally find these tasks useful towards the end of term when students are less cooperative. There is nothing that makes these tasks specific to any time in the school year.
This collection includes brainteasers aimed to get students thinking outside the box, a crossword with varying difficulties of words all related to school, and a word search of subject names with space to fill in the subjects the students inevitably identify as different to the term they use in their own school, as well as any subject they take which aren’t on the list.
Each activity should fill a 15-20 minute tutor period in itself so don’t feel the need to give them all out at once… unless you have an hour to fill!
The resources included are supplied as both Word documents if you want to edit them and .pdf documents to ensure that the formatting is ready to print and use today!
Students will only need the first sheet of each resource to use (save on your printing), the second pages hold the answers for you to give them later on.
