Within this pack is an array of resources to review and consolidate daily routine key vocabulary. There is a comprehensive vocab frame for pupils to speak or write in the 1st or 3rd person about their or someone else's daily routine. The frame provides help with key daily routine phrases, times, connectives, sentence openers and opinions. There are two word searches, a Sudoku puzzle and a teacher PPT to help pupils with the formation of their written or speaking work. There is a vocab sheet that helps pupils to draw up a timetable of their own daily routine too.

A set of 32 questions for pupils to ask the Foreign Language Assistant in French. This is great for making the pupils at ease with the FLA and practices formulating questions. Most of the questions are appropriate for the FLA to ask to the pupils then. It is a great ice-breaker. There is also a slide modelling how pupils can introduce themselves to the FLA, Excellent speaking practice, this can be used as a whole class activity or for small group or pair work. The questions are easy to print and can be stuck into books for revision.

This is an excellent game for pupils to build their numeracy skills and extend their sentences. A number flashes on the left hand side and pupils use the sentence openers to say what is in their house and bedroom. They make the multiple using the grid. This can be extended using negative structures. This is a fun way for pupils to practice their speaking and can lead on to a written task. This was highlighted during an OFSTED visit as outstanding practice as the conversation developed freely and improved pupils' confidence and attainment levels. Easy to edit for other topics.

These resources familiarise pupils with vocabulary within the classroom. Included are signs to print out and label parts of the classroom. Also included is a reading worksheet where pupils match the French to the English. The pupils then fold the worksheet to recall genders and find the French in the wordsearch. There is also a plenary or starter game of follow me cards of 24 phrases that reinforce classroom instructions and items found in the classroom.

The resources include a starter to rearrange the parts of the body. Also included are two word searches of 14 body parts, one provided the German, in the differentiated version pupils have to translate the English before finding the German. In addition there is a word puzzle containing illnesses and problems the words need to be unscrambled to reveal the correct phrases. In the teacher presentation there is a recap of illnesses whereby pupils translate 9 phrases aiming to reveal the mystery character. There is an example of a dialogue at the doctors and a speaking and writing frame for pupils to describe problems and offer solutions.

A set of follow me cards with 22 phrases revising daily routine in the present tense. Great to consolidate as a whole class or in groups. The past and present game includes differentiated version. There is a blank template where pupils use picture prompts to write about their daily routine in the present and the past. The second version they can transform the present to the past and vice versa. The third version is a card sort whereby the teacher prints out the solution, cuts up the sentences and the pupils arrange them in the correct columns. Excellent for consolidation, review or revision.

Teacher presentation to introduce "what's important to me" . The starter is a shape puzzle that recaps on school vocab. The slide can be printed off and pupils work independently to form the triangle. The teacher then introduces 7 things that are important to them. The pupils can use dictionaries and their books to prepare speaking presentations on what is important to them. There is a worksheet with a reading text that can be used for pupils as a prompt to write their own answers. There is also a storyboard template for them to prepare a plan. This would work equally well preparing for a speaking presentation. There is also a fun Sudoku puzzle. This is a lovely lesson to use as an icebreaker with new classes. This could be extended with use of "weil"
