Population: snakes and ladders

(0)
This snakes and ladders game is designed for students to play to learn about the reasons for population increase and decrease. Students roll the dice and move their counters (you will need to supply these). Each time the student lands on a statement they must decide whether it would increase or decrease the population. You could ask students to write down the answers in a table. The ladders cause the population to increase. The snakes cause the population to decrease. You could ask students if they spotted this after the activity. It also makes a really quick and easy way to check students progress.
