This is a quiz on regular -ar, -er, and -ir and -car, -gar, -zar verbs in the preterite tense. Part 1: Conjugate each verb in the preterit (Students will conjugate 1 -ar, 1 -er, and 1- ir verb for all persons and 1 - car, 1 - gar, and 1 -zar verb in the yo form) Part 2: Answer the 15 personal questions in a complete sentence in the preterit. (The questions are a combination of yes / no type and information questions using regular -ar, -er, -ir and spelling change verbs). Students have to fill out the question-answer chart as a way to help them answer the personal questions. (Ex: If the subject of the question is tu, the subject of the answer is yo etc). Answer key is included for parts 1 and 2. For part 2, student answers will vary. Pages 1-3 are the quiz and pages 4-6 are the answer key.

Subjunctive ar er ir verbs conjugation and sentence worksheet This is an open ended worksheet with regular -ar, -er -ir verbs in the present subjunctive. For each verb type, students will be given 6 verbs with their English translations (ex: hablar =to speak). They will choose any 3 to conjugate for all 6 persons and choose any 4 to complete 4 original sentences. A template for writing sentences is provided with introductory phrases (ex: Yo quiero que …) and students will add a new subject and 3-4 words to expand on the sentence.
