Quick lesson on Universal Basic Income used with my Year 13 Economics students. -Students read the BBC article on UBI -Try to fill in the table with some pros and cons (using their own knowledge) -Then I put the Financial Times video on (19 mins; free on YouTube) and asked students to update their table accordingly -Also resulted in a good discussion in my class after viewing I found this was a good way to help my students understand a real world issue that isn’t necessarily in the syllabus
