Hi all! My name is Shauna and I am currently a Senior Leader/SENCO in an all-through PRU. My online presence focusses on resources I have created and used for CPD and whole school SEND support as a SENCO and resources I have created and used as a class teacher to support those with SEND in mainstream and special schools. A little more about me... I started off as a teacher in a mainstream, with a keen interest in SEND. Whilst teaching, I studied for and completed a MA in Education (SEND), which lead me to becoming a SENCO in a mainstream school. After COVID taught us all not to take anything for granted, I decided to make the leap out of mainstream and become a class teacher/middle leader in a special school, specifically for children and young people who had an EHCP and a diagnosis of ASD. As much as I loved being in a special school, I really missed my SENCO role so when the opportunity arose to be a Senior Leader and SENCO in an all-through PRU, I had to take it!
