Phonics practice tests with QR codes. Simply scan with any smart device and practice. Used it in the classroom so children can easily upload the materials and practice. Also useful for parents evening as a handout, so children can practice at home.
Phonics screening revision booklet with lots of fun activities children can complete with an adult or independently. It includes 27 pages of word sorters, naming aliens, matching activities, speed sounds and many more.
This is a great booklet which I have used many times for various purposes - interventions, during lessons, homework during holidays in order to practise applying sounds.
This resource includes letter families for children to practise their formation, this is grouped by families and also single letters. I used it for interventions, homework and Literacy books for children who would mirror certain letters. It also has a power point with all the families and handwriting paper to model formation to children.
I also added A3 mats for each letter family so children can practise three letters at a time, which proved very popular in my class.
This is a complete unit for D&T making castles. This contains presentation, lesson plans, all the worksheets (which I would normally print as a booklet) and resources you would need. Everything is editable if you want to make changes.

My class enjoys using them as part of a game “Word Bucket”. Children take turns to pull a word from a bucket, if they read it correctly they keep it if not it goes back in the bucket (you can provide children with a timer). Flashcards for other phases will follow shortly.
This is a complete resource pack to teach Phase 5 Alternative spellings in Year 1 aligned with the new curricullum. It includes new updated overview of spellings which should be taught in Year 1. This pack includes spelling rules flashcards, power point with over 2000 slides (created in the same font as phonics screening) and alternative spelling display. Please note that alternative sounds suggested in Letters and Sounds are now out of date.
