This is a structured recount writing lesson based on the 2018 MacDonalds Advert #reindeer ready. The lesson leads you through each paragraph, encouraging children to add in different features of a recount. An excellent resource to help teach the topics of Black History Month or Inspirational People. The ppt comes with guidance for children on note taking and presenting information in an eye catching way. There is a link to a class clips video as well as a picture of Harriet Tubman children can use on their poster. This has been a very well received lesson by all my classes.
