Over the past 13 years, I have contributed a great deal towards the overall effectiveness in high attainment levels, strategic planning, links with the community and the wellbeing of the children in the schools that I have taught in. Gaining my current role as Assistant Headteacher responsible for Teaching & Learning, Assessment and Maths, has allowed me to work alongside other inspiring leaders from within my own school and across the whole of the city. One thing I have learnt along the way is that teaching and learning is at the heart of every decision I make as a school leader. It is why I entered this wonderful profession to begin with.
