Lesson 3 and 4 Butterflies PowerPoints (17 and 25 slides) covering:
• The life cycle of a butterfly
• Songs to join in and perform with others
• Movement to music through dance
•Use of tempo and dynamics
This is part of a whole scheme of work to develop children's ability to perform music. Pupils will create descriptive music for sound stories, animals and woodland images. They will combine and perform rhythmic and melodic material, developing their understanding that music, like pictures, can describe images and moods. Pupils will respond to music using Makaton, dance and art.
